Recital

Wow! I haven't posted in a while! Life's been so crazy lately. I also haven't felt like doing much because I had a messy room. Having a messy room makes everything stressful! It makes me just want to sit there and do nothing. I have a clean room now so my stress level just went way down. Every time I clean my room I say that I'm not going to let it get bad again but it always ends up bad again. This time I'm going to try really really hard to keep it clean though! I've noticed that I loose my motivation to spend time with God when my room is a mess.

So, my post isn't titled "recital" for nothing! I wanted to post about my dance recital that is coming up this weekend. This year's theme is "Seascapes and Fishes" ( i don't like the title either...i wanted it to be 'under the sea') and I have three dances. My first dance is called 'Sealion Woman'. This is my contemporary ballet piece to the song Sealion Woman by: Feist. It's a very strangely awesome song and the dance is really fun! We also have epic costumes! My second piece is called 'Wife of a Fisherman'. This is my modern piece and the music is made up from three songs. In the dance we are all wives of sailors who went out to sea and we get mad that they left us. Then we find out that they died at sea...Its a really neat piece! My third and last piece is my classical ballet piece! We are dancing to Handel's Water Music and it's very classical! We get to wear platter tutus and our costumes are really pretty! We also get a tiara and a rhinestone choker! I'm pretty excited for that piece...although it is very tiring. Probably the most tiring dance I have ever done! By the end of it, going up on pointe is really painful! I'm excited though! I can't wait until this weekend! :)
